Meet the Doc
Dr. AJ has always had a passion for helping people move, feel, and function at their best. His approach to chiropractic care is built on more than a decade of education and hands-on experience working with the human body, and he continually strives to deepen his knowledge so he can provide each patient with a thoughtful, personalized experience.
Dr. AJ began his education in Kinesiology with a focus in Athletic Training and Physical Rehabilitation, graduating in 2016 with plans to pursue a career in physical therapy. After graduation, he worked in several physical therapy settings and independently practiced somatic therapy before joining CoreLife, where he became the Director of Exercise and Fitness at the Laurel, MD clinic. While working at CoreLife, he completed his Master's Degree in Kinesiology and Human Movement Science in 2021. Through those experiences, Dr. AJ developed a growing interest in chiropractic and its approach to the relationship between the nervous system, movement, function, and the body's ability to adapt. That interest ultimately led him to Cleveland University-Kansas City in Overland Park, Kansas, where he earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree.
His previous education and years of hands-on experience gave him a strong foundation throughout chiropractic school. In addition to his clinical training, Dr. AJ served as a Cleveland University Campus Ambassador, participated in the student American Chiropractic Association, advocated for the chiropractic profession on Capitol Hill, and served for six trimesters as Vice President of the Rho Chapter of Delta Sigma Chi professional chiropractic fraternity. He also pursued additional training beyond the standard chiropractic curriculum, becoming certified in Cox® Flexion-Distraction Technique, FAKTR, and Webster Technique while continuing to study techniques and approaches that allow him to tailor care to each individual patient. Upon graduating from chiropractic school in April 2025, Dr. AJ received the Clinic Intern Performance Award, recognizing his clinical ability, work ethic, and attitude while serving as a student doctor in the university health center.
Today, Dr. AJ brings his background in rehabilitation, exercise science, human movement, and chiropractic together at Connections Chiropractic. His goal is not simply to address where someone hurts, but to better understand how their body is functioning as a whole and help them become more resilient, adaptable, and confident in their health. He is proud to serve Timonium and the surrounding Baltimore community and looks forward to helping you get back to doing more of what you love!
